Official: NFL to play in Los Angeles next season

Interesting article I came across. While it's mind blowing that Los Angeles does not have an NFL team I can't say I blame the NFL or owners for not having a team here. Without being involved any deeper than living in LA and being a huge sports fan I do know this much, LA is a front running town, period. Just look at the Lakers, Trojans and Bruins and you can see the enormous spike in attendance and buzz with the good and bad teams each have had over the past 10 years. Loyalty in LA goes about as far as their word. Furthermore, nobody in LA is from LA, apparently everyone in LA is really from Boston since all you see or hear at the local sports bars are Patriots, Celtics and Red Sox fans wearing their jerseys and being braggadocios. Hmmmm... that's funny. Anyway, I hope this happens... and as a Dolphins fan I hope it's the Bills that come here so I'm guaranteed a Fins game every year and maybe even a playoff game when my kids are in college. Truth is the teams listed in this article, I believe Buffalo and Minnesota are the least likely to relocate. I went to college in Viking country, North Dakota to be specific, and all the surrounding states not called Wisconsin are huge and I mean huge loyal Vikings fans. It's all they have in that region... Vikings are going nowhere. And Buffalo has a 135 year old whacky owner, old people don't like change and Buffalo is one of the leagues older teams. I think it will be Jacksonville... way to many Florida teams not to mention at least 3 major NCAA teams with faithful followings. Jags are sort of an afterthought. No fan loyalty like the other teams.
The last 2 sentences say a lot.

Eagle replies:

If they keep the name Jaguars they’ll die here. This is LA baby and the Jacksonville Jags (regardless of their ability) are a team with zero history, superstar or prestige. They make the Rams look interesting.

Hell the infamous bad boy Raiders had a tough time here – and they had a loyal fan base. LA deserves either a new team or one with a winning history and a personality -- the Packers, Giants, Jets, Eagles, Colts, Broncos, 49ers, Raiders, Steelers (didn’t mention teams like the Bears or Fins or Redskins or other teams because they’ll never move). LA will never support a white bread no superstar losing team -- like the Jags, Chiefs, Bucs, Bengals, Seahawks, Chargers, Panthers, Cardinals, Bills. Can you see Jack Nicholson at an LA Panthers or LA Jaguar game?

What? The Rams not interesting. What's more interesting than a crazy old beer hag smoking cigarettes and letting her dogs crap on the field, which is a metaphor in itself, owning and running an NFL team in LA?

I don't think there is any way in hell teams like Green Bay, Pittsburgh, Denver or the NYG relocate without the aide of a lunatic owner ie Al Davis. Wait a second... Al Davis and Georgia Frontierre were both in LA at the same time? Holy shit! No wonder.
